Quick summary

No account required

You can play without providing a name, email, or password.

Local game saves

Progress and settings are normally stored on your device.

Optional rewarded ads

Ads are shown only when you choose an ad-supported bonus.

Platform billing

Apple or Google processes payments; the developer does not receive your complete payment-card details.

02

Information that may be processed

Game progress stored on your device

LUMEN stores information such as settings, unlocked upgrades, cosmetics, motes, run history, scores, and other progression data locally on your device. This information is used to preserve your game state. It is not an account profile and is not normally transmitted to the developer.

Purchases

If you purchase an in-game product, Apple or Google and RevenueCat may process the purchased product, transaction or receipt information, storefront, currency, purchase status, entitlement, and an anonymous or app-specific user identifier. The developer does not receive your complete payment-card or bank-account details.

Rewarded advertising

When you choose to watch a rewarded advertisement, Google AdMob may process technical and advertising information such as your device type, operating system, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, advertising identifiers where permitted, consent choices, ad impressions, interactions, and diagnostic information. The exact information depends on your device settings, region, consent choices, and the advertisement served.

Website and technical data

When you visit the LUMEN website, hosting and delivery systems may temporarily process basic technical information such as request logs, IP address, browser and device category, referring page, approximate region, and timestamps for security and reliability.

Information you choose to provide

If you contact the developer for support or a privacy request, the developer will process the information included in your message, such as your contact details, device information, screenshots, and the content of your request.

03

How information is used

Information is processed only as reasonably necessary to:

  • operate LUMEN and preserve player progress on the device;
  • process, verify, restore, and prevent abuse of purchases;
  • deliver an eligible rewarded bonus;
  • measure performance and improve stability and gameplay;
  • detect fraud, security incidents, and technical problems;
  • respond to support and privacy requests; and
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and platform obligations.
04

Third-party service providers

These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies:

05

Advertising, consent, and tracking

Rewarded advertising is optional: you decide whether to start an advertisement in exchange for the displayed in-game bonus. The game may ask for consent or display a privacy message where required by law.

On Apple devices, the game may request permission before accessing the advertising identifier for tracking where Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework requires it. On Android, advertising and privacy controls are governed by your device settings and applicable consent choices.

The developer does not sell personal information for money. Depending on local law, personalized advertising may be considered sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where required, consent and opt-out controls are provided through the game or your device settings.

06

Storage and retention

  • Local progress: remains on your device until you reset LUMEN, clear its storage, or remove the app, subject to device backups and platform behavior.
  • Purchase records: are retained by the relevant store, RevenueCat, and the developer as needed to provide purchases, restore access, prevent fraud, and comply with financial and legal obligations.
  • Advertising: is retained according to Google’s settings and privacy policy.
  • Support requests: are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate records, and resolve disputes.
  • Website logs: may be retained for a limited period for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
07

Your choices and privacy rights

You can:

  • play without creating a developer account;
  • decline an optional rewarded advertisement;
  • manage tracking permission in iOS Settings or advertising controls on Android;
  • reset locally stored progress using LUMEN’s controls or by removing the app; and
  • request access, correction, deletion, or restriction where applicable law provides those rights.

Some records cannot be deleted immediately when they must be retained for purchases, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Requests concerning information controlled directly by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or the hosting provider may need to be submitted to that provider.

08

Children’s privacy

LUMEN is a general-audience game and is not directed specifically to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly request a child’s name, email address, or other contact information through the game. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information directly to the developer, please make a privacy request so the information can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

09

Security and international processing

Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States, subject to the safeguards and legal mechanisms described in their respective privacy policies.

10

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when LUMEN, its services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when a material update is published. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies from its effective date.
